Page 1 of 2 GO Group is the mission or “Global Outreach” ministry of Eastside Community Church. Go Group mission statement:"Go Group exists to enable and encourage the people of Eastside Community Church to reach across geographic and cultural boundaries to demonstrate the love of Jesus Christ to others."
GO Group events
A GO Fest is held each September, which is a celebration of what God has done in the preceding 12 months in global missions. A fund raising event is held, such as a Trivia Olympics last year, in support of a selected missionary organisation. Past organisations supported are Action Partners (now Pioneers), Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF), Campus Crusaders for Christ and OMF. All funds raised by the event are given to the visiting organisation. The Sunday Service is mission focused, and usually has a visiting missionary speaker.
GO Group Spots
These are 3 minute information sessions held usually on the third Sunday every month. These are designed to provide information on what God is doing around the world.
