At present, there is no formal element of visual art within our church. However, art works produced by people in the congregation have been used in our services from time to time. This is a growing area and tee are many possibilities for the use of visual art in the future including...
Set design – with the emergence and establishment of the drama team, there will be a need for sets, props and backdrops of various kinds
Art Shows – to allow an outlet for Christian artists to display their works. Will allow outreach opportunities.
Multimedia – creating backgrounds for multimedia presentations and song displays
Publicity – the Art area would be used for most of the publicity going out from the church
Bulletin – Responsible for the visual aspects of the bulletin Paintings in the sanctuary and other rooms. |
