We are in Division 3 this season. The season runs from March through to September.
We are Eastside F.C. (Football Club)
Any guys 16+ yrs of age can play and our team ranges from teenagers to 40s+. We play Saturday afternoons at various fields around Brisbane although around half should be played at Whites Hill State College (Samuel St).
Soccer experience is not essential as it is a very social team (although we do get competitive) and we have a mix of guys from within the church family as well as friends, neighbours, work-mates etc... This is where the ministry focus is. Inviting guys to play among a generally ordinary bunch of guys with Christian values.
We play football (soccer to the uneducated) but not very well at times. We usually have family and friends of players come to watch and it seems a good opportunity for them to catch up as well.
