General Information Playtime is a ministry for babies, pre-school aged children and their parents or carers.
It provides a safe, creative, spiritually encouraging and fun environment for children and adults alike.
The group meets during the school terms on Wednesday mornings between 9:30 and 11:00am. We meet downstairs in our church property located at 880 New Cleveland Road, Gumdale. In the event of rain, this website will be updated before 8am on the Wednesday to advise of an alternate venue.

Cost While we are meeting at the park and are on other arranged outings, there will be no cost per visit. When Playtime is able to meet at 880 New Cleveland Road, the suggested cost will be $2 per family per visit. An annual fee of $10 is also required upon completion of a registration form.
What to bring Please bring your child’s hats, labelled bottles and a piece of fruit to contribute toward the children’s fruit salad. You will also be required to bring morning tea to share on a rostered basis. Please ensure your child comes in clothing suitable for messy play. It would be advised to keep a towel and change of clothes with you for the occasional water play days. Advance notice will be given for these days.
What happens during the year Playtime celebrates special days such as Valentines, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Christmas, and all the seasons with various crafts and activities. We end each school term with a party day which is usually at a park near by. We also have an annual excursion to a child friendly venue so we can all enjoy a memorable and exciting day. Playtime subsidises most of the cost of this excursion.We end the year with a festive Christmas party where all the children receive a gift from a special visitor.
